Using Compliance Techniques
In our research of compliance and influence techniques we found that both men and women respond to attractive models. We also found that individuals attribute a higher value and greater attractiveness to the products that the models are promoting. In a sense the models extend a halo affect around the products.
We utilized the picture of the Hawaiian model sitting on a Harley-Davidson Softail sporting a D&D high performance exhaust pipe on all of our promotional communications. Good looking model + good looking motorcycle + good looking pipes = more participation.
The D&D Bikini Promotion is in the final week. We will now vote for the contestants and award the prize.
We are looking for high value avenues to increase brand recognition for D&D Performance Enterprises. Partnering with Bikernet.com allows us to present D&D products to a highly motivated and targeted group. Results have been encouraging with sales and web traffic improved during previous campaigns. Contest Rules
- Send in a picture of your motorcycle and bikini model to dd@horsepowermarkeing.com. Include name, motorcycle, year, t-shirt size, email and telephone number.
- Only one entry per person. Duplicate entries will be removed.
- No nudity
- Winners will be notified by e-mail.
- No purchase necessary to enter contest.
- Winners are picked weekly by Bikernet judges and will receive a D&D t-shirt. Bikernet judges will select the best contestants and combine weekly winners into grand prize voting. The grand prize is a set of D&D pipes with the winner selected by votes from the Bikernet website.
- All entrants selected by the Bikernet judges and weekly Grand prize voting – Only one vote per computer.
- Bikernet and D&D Performance Enterprises are not responsible for any damages, taxes, or expenses that the winner might incur as a result of this contest, or receipt and use of prizes.
- If a winner does not respond within 30 days, the prize will be forfeited. If the Grand Prize winner does not respond within 30 days, the prize will be forfeited and the second place winner will be selected.
- Entrants receive e-mails.
- Each item includes free surface shipping.(International winners are responsible for freight expense). No other fees are included.
- All prizes cannot be returned for exchange or credit.
- Winners agree to allow their name, city, state and country to be viewed on the winners list on our website.
- Employees of Bikernet and D&D Performance Enterprises and their families are not eligible for this contest.
- By entering this contest, the participant agrees to all the above terms and conditions. Any misrepresentation will result in forfeiture of prize.
- Monthly winners are not eligible for additional monthly prizes. All entrants and monthly winners are eligible for the Grand Prize.
- Judges decisions are final.
- Contest runs from August 17th through September 28th.
- Weekly contest shuts down for Bonneville racing on September 7th and August 31st.
